 What is Kinesiology?

If there is something bothering you and you want to sort it out - kinesiology will tell you how to do it.

Kinesiology encompasses holistic health disciplines using the gentle system of muscle monitoring to access information about a person's well being. It combines manual and non-manual therapeutic  techniques to promote physical, emotional, and mental health. It identifies the elements that inhibit the body's natural healing processes. It assists with stimulating a person's natural internal strength and vitality and accessing the life enhancing potential within the individual.

"The power that made the body, can heal the body."

Disease and discomfort are the result of underlying stressors, blockages and imbalances.  A kinesiologist, uses the scientific functioning of muscles and the central nervous system, to find the blockages in the body and the best methods to restore balance where imbalance, dis-ease and dis-comfort has existed.

Our bodies are self-regulating and have the innate capacity to heal themselves.  Plasters and ointments don't heal cuts and bruises;  the body does.  This illustrates the self healing capacities of the body.  Sometimes the inner mechanisms for this self-regulation become blocked or impeded.  Using the verification tool of muscle-monitoring we identify the cause and appropriate correction for those imbalances and blockages.  As our perceptions and innate healing capacities move into a state of balance:  ease, well-being and an improved quality of life become available again.

Remember:  Dis-ease and dis-comfort are the indicators from our bodies that something within our selves or our lives  needs attention.  Using the intrinsic, scientific functioning of muscles and neurology, a kinesiology facilitator identifies adverse stressors and blockages and identifies the appropriate techniques to re-establish balance.   Kinesiology is not about finding "right" or "wrong", nor "good" or "bad", simply stress instead of ease.
