Who
should have kinesiology and what it can do for you
The short answer:
Everyone
who has any desire to improve
their quality of life.
The long answer:
Who on the
planet doesn’t have at least
one tiny aspect of their life that couldn’t be better.
Most of us have many aspects of our lives
that could be much easier, better, more enjoyable and generally more
pleasant.
We have all had
times when we were not as well as we would have liked, physically,
emotionally and mentally. It is at these times that we want to get
effective assistance.
Kinesiology
is gentle and non-invasive (you get to keep your clothes on!)
Kinesiology dentifies what is happening and why, and then identifies
the best
techniques to
restore the sense of well-being we are seeking.
Physical
or emotional symptoms are the "point-form emails" from your body to
tell you that there are imbalances of some form or another in the
mind-body system. Have you received any of these "body-mails" or
others recently?

"what Kinesiology and
Kinesiologists do NOT do.
- We do not
heal - only your body can do that (just as it heals a broken bone or a
cut!)
- We do not
diagnose or treat - we acknowledge the symptom/s you present with, and
work towards solutions
- We do not
interfere with your faith or religious beliefs! - we are trained to
work within the realm of your belief system to best assist in finding
solutions to improve your well being
- We do not make predictions
We DO
however
promise you the following:
- More energy
- Greater
understanding of yourself
- Choices
where none seemed to exist before
- Acceptance
and understanding of others
- To help you
to find solutions
- More
appropriate and increased functioning ability
- assist in
improving your quality of life and so "re-educate" your body and
yourself to health
An
improved quality of life."1
"Does
Kinesiology cure?
No-one
cures anyone
else. If you cut your finger, I can put a plaster on it but your body
heals the
cut, and if you break a bone, a doctor can set it, but he does not heal
it -
you do .... and so as Kinesiologist we do not "heal" or "treat"
but work to re-establish balance so that you can heal more effectively
and
improve your quality of life. [The cure is then up to your body,
and if you are ready for it, you will.]
How long
will it last?
That
again is
dependant on the individual. There is one certainty in life and that is
change!
Whilst we are living we are constantly presented with stressors, and
how long
we remain in balance depends on our genetic make-up and our ability to
adapt to
change appropriately. If you drive your car like the wind, it
surely
needs refuelling more often than if you join the Sunday drivers.
Do you
prescribe medication?
No. We
do not
diagnose nor prescribe - this is the right of medical doctors. The most
we do
is recommend supplementation that is indicating via muscle monitoring
as
beneficial. We also do not "take
you off" your medication. We acknowledge all therapies as of equal use,
right , benefit and good and wish for you the same."2
The body
is designed to heal itself.
Our goal
is to return
the body to a position of choice.
If
the body realises it has choice, it will choose to heal.
